Expansion of the Rombout Fire District Headquarters Rombout Fire Company Station 1 Construction began on Tuesday, August 20, 2002. This page will document the work as it progresses. Click each picture to see a larger version. Parts of existing structure are torn down to make room for the expansion.

March 2005 (that is not a typo, we are talking 2005!) After numerous construction delays and contractor issues, workers are once again on site and the building is rapidly nearing completion. NOVEMBER 2005 Construction has finally finished, a CO has been issued, and the building has been dedicated. Please check under "Apparatus & Stations" for pictures.
