SAM'S-CLUB AWARDS ROMBOUT
FD GRANT MONEY
The Rombout Fire Company recently received a $1500 grant
from Sam's Club Business Manager Maria Fragoso. This grant money
is from of the ”Safer Neighbor Hero Grant" Program awarded by the Sam Walton
Foundation, named for the founder of Sam's Club / Wal-Mart and
administered by his widow, Helen Walton. This is one of many grants the
company gives out to various organizations in the community. Sam's club
of Fishkill has long been a supporter of the Rombout Fire Company and other
local organizations. The grant will be used to support Rombout's Fire
Prevention Program.
