1972 - Sunday supper was interrupted by this 4:45pm structure fire in Dutchess Junction. Under the command of Chief Russ VanPelt, 39 members and 2 engines from Rombout were on the scene with an additional engine from P.E.C.O. as well. Protection Engine was also put on stand by to cover the remainder of the Rombout District while operating at this call. Prior to the inception of the Dutchess Junction Fire Company, Rombout covered all calls in this southern part of the town as well.
